Bindi Irwin’s Daughter Grace Is a Mini Animal Whisperer in a New Photo With Her Wild ‘Best Friend’
Even Disney princesses aren’t as in tune with animals as Grace Warrior. Sure, birds help them tidy up and mice make them dresses, but even the wildest of creatures have a soft spot for Bindi Irwin’s 3-year-old daughter. It’s like they can sense her gentle soul! Grace’s “Bunny” (aka, Bindi’s mom Terri Irwin) shared the sweetest pictures of her granddaughter hanging out with an animal at the Australia Zoo, and as the late Steve Irwin would say: Crikey, she’s cute!
“Grace and her best friend @australiazoo.??” Terri captioned the post on Instagram Thursday. Grace hangs out in the shade in the backyard, dressed like a fashionista in a light blue bucket hat, a black-and-white Minnie Mouse dress (complete with a Bluey sticker on the front!), blue leggings, and pink shoes. She smiles as she seemingly feeds a kangaroo (!!) a snack from the palm of her hand. The little baby Joey leans forward as Grace cups his face in her hand in the most wholesome moment.

In another photo, Grace’s hands are down by her sides as she smiles at the kangaroo, which would be taller than her if it stood up straight. The animal is right up next to Grace, clearly enamored by the littleg girl.

Grace is very in tune with wildlife and the love between the kangaroo is so special ??????”
“Grace is like..who needs a teddy bear when you have a roo?” someone else joked.
Bindi, whose called her daughter an “expert on animals” before, often shares sweet pictures and videos of her daughter with animals. In one last month, Grace sat on wooden steps next to a lemur, holding a broccoli for the creature to eat. After confirming with her dad Chandler Powell, Grace turns to the lemur and tells it, “You like to eat this one, Lemur.”
But while Grace seems to love all wildlife like her famous family, it seems her absolutely favorite animal is actually a turtle. Bindi shared a heartfelt video recently explaining that this turtle love is a special connection to the late Crocodile Hunter. “My dad discovered a new species of turtle 40 years ago,” Bindi said. “Never knowing they would be his granddaughter’s favorite animal.”
“You’d be so proud of your granddaughter, Dad. We miss you,” she added.
