Jelly Roll to headline opening night of Birds Nest concerts at Phoenix Open
Jelly Roll will headline opening night of the Coors Light Birds Nest concert series at the 2025 Waste Management Open on Wednesday, Feb. 5, with Treaty Oak Revival opening for him.
The four-night concert series runs Feb. 5-8 during the 2025 WM Phoenix Open.
Luke Bryan is the headliner for Thursday, Feb. 6, with Nate Smith opening. The remaining lineup will be announced as more artists are confirmed.
“We couldn’t ask for a better artist to kick things off as Jelly Roll makes his debut at this year’s Coors Light Birds Nest,” WM Phoenix Open Tournament Chairman Matt Mooney said in a statement.
“Jelly Roll is one of the fastest rising stars in music, and his widely popular songs will make for an unforgettable night and set the perfect tone for a great week of music during WM Phoenix Open week.”
How to get WM Phoenix Open concert tickets for Jelly Roll
Tickets for Jelly Roll and Treaty Oak Revival go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at CoorsLightBirdsNest.com. Tickets are available now for Luke Bryan and Nate Smith.
General admission tickets start at $125.
VIP tickets start at $350 and include a VIP area with complimentary food and drinks and a premium viewing area for the shows.
Prices go up as the event draws closer.
Why is Jelly Roll so famous?
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Jelly Roll has made a name for himself as a versatile artist blending rap, rock and country. After gaining underground recognition in the Southern rap scene, his career took off when he transitioned into country music, achieving mainstream success with hits such as "Son of a Sinner" and "Need a Favor."
Since 2011, Jelly Roll has released more than 20 albums and mixtapes, showcasing his ability to fuse genres and connect with listeners through raw and honest storytelling.
His 2021 album “Ballads of the Broken” marked a turning point in his career, with singles like "Save Me" and "Son of a Sinner" earning widespread acclaim.
Released in 2023, his debut country album, “Whitsitt Chapel,” topped charts and solidified his crossover appeal.
He’s also known for collaborations with artists such as Tech N9ne, Struggle Jennings and Lil Wyte. He earned three CMT Awards in 2023.
Jelly Roll headlined Country Thunder Arizona in April 2024.
In reviewing that performance, The Republic wrote, "He’s like a gospel tent revivalist with way more face tattoos than your typical preacher. And before the night was through, he'd delivered an uplifting sermon or two for a crowd he said numbered as many as 26,000, framing his darkest hours as a pathway to enlightenment."
What to know about Treaty Oak Revival
Treaty Oak Revival is a rising band from west Texas, blending Texas red-dirt country music with the raw energy of Southern rock and punk influences. Formed in 2019, Treaty Oak Revival members include Sam Canty (lead singer/acoustic guitar), Lance Vanley (rhythm electric guitar/background vocals), Jeremiah Vanley (lead electric guitar), Andrew Carey (bass) and Cody Holloway (drums).
Their latest album, “Have a Nice Day,” landed them on several top album lists while solidifying their place in the country rock genre.
Treaty Oak Revival made their debut at the Grand Ole Opry, a significant milestone for any country artist, this year.
Coors Light Birds Nest concert schedule
The Coors Light Birds Nest opens at 3:30 p.m. each day and closes at 10:30 p.m. The patio area will have live music, outdoor games, entertainment, food and drinks.
The opening act will take the main stage inside the 48,000-square-foot tent at approximately 6:30 p.m. each night, with the headliners going on stage at approximately 8:30 p.m.
The Coors Light Birds Nest is directly across from the main WM Phoenix Open tournament entrance at 82nd Street and Bell Road in Scottsdale. It's a 21-and-over venue. For more information, visit coorslightbirdsnest.com.
