‘Blacklist’ Finale Recap: 2 Shocking Twists That Change Everything

There were two shocking twists at the end of The Blacklist finale that caught everyone off guard. The episode was titled “Alexander Kirk: Conclusion” because Reddington and the gang were tracking down the man who was responsible for Elizabeth’s death.

While Red was waiting to kill Kirk, Tom slipped his security detail and hopped a plane to Cuba with Agnus. Naturally, Kirk had Tom followed and also slipped away to Cuba to track him down. Not only was Red furious that he missed his opportunity to kill Kirk, but he was also upset when he found out how Tom got out of the country: Mr. Kaplan helped Tom escape, and not only that, she also dropped the bombshell that Tom was going to meet … Elizabeth! That’s right, Liz is still alive!

Unfortunately, their freedom didn’t last for long, as Alexander Kirk showed up and kidnapped them. The episode ended with Liz in a dark room and Kirk confessing that his real name is Constantine Rostova … and he’s actually Liz’s father!

The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
