The Blacklist loses 2 series regulars in its season 9 finale
Two series regulars are departing The Blacklist following its season 9 finale, EW has confirmed.

Arison discussed his gratitude for his time on The Blacklist in a tweet on Friday.
"I have made lifelong friends, learned so much along the way, and have met countless wonderful people from all over the world who support the show," he wrote. "It is not lost on me how lucky I am to have been able to work and evolve with a role for nine years with this special cast, crew, and so many dedicated artists."

Arison is leaving in advance of his summer Broadway debut as Amir, the star of The Kite Runner, an opportunity he says he couldn't pass up.
"The Kite Runner is one of the most extraordinary novels I have ever read, and its stage adaptation for Broadway is both breathtaking and timely," he wrote.

Despite Arison's departure, the door is open for him to make guest appearances in the future; his character Aram announced that he's stepping away from the FBI and plans to move to Brooklyn, where he'll do very New York things like eat pizza and "maybe [see] a Broadway show."

Sohn has been a series regular since the eighth season following her introduction the previous year. She plans to pursue other projects, according to Deadline. Sohn has had roles on NCIS: New Orleans and Instinct.
James Spader, Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, and Hisham Tawfiq are the remaining cast members. All of them have been on The Blacklist since season 1.
