Blackpink's Lisa joins cast of 'The White Lotus' Season 3
Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Thai singer Lisa has joined the cast of The White Lotus.
The K-pop star, a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, will appear in Season 3 of the HBO series.
The season will mark the acting debut of Lisa, who will be credited as Lalisa Manobal on the show.
HBO confirmed Lisa's casting Monday and said Scott Glenn and Julian Kostov will also join Season 3.
The network previously announced Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Aimee Lou Wood.
The Season 3 cast also includes Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimthong, along with Season 1 actress Natasha Rothwell.
The White Lotus is created, written, directed and executive produced by Mike White. Each season follows the staff and guests at a different location of the fictional White Lotus chain of luxury resorts.
Season 3 will take place in Thailand and begin production this month.
Fellow Blackpink member Jennie made her acting debut on the HBO series The Idol in 2023.
