On the press tour for her new film “It Ends with Us,” queen of self styling Blake Lively has put her fashion quirks on full display — with mixed degrees of success.

This is the best look of the whole tour. This 2002 Versace dress, worn by Britney Spears to the brand’s spring 2003 fashion show, works perfectly with Lively’s floral spring/summer theme for this press tour. The one-shoulder, multicolored sequined dress with halter neckline is extremely flattering on Lively, just as it was on Spears back then.
Chanel blue T and jeans: B+
We love the daytime casual interpretation of the floral theme. It comes across as jeans and a T-shirt, but when you pay close attention, you see the craftsmanship. The summer waves and the rose-designed handbag give the final touch.
Hot pink: C
Barbiecore is over — and this pink ensemble should have never been considered anyway. There is too much going on here: the minidress, the coat, the giant earrings, the hair. It’s an explosion.
Floral minidress holding the umbrella: B
This evening, seductive floral dress is giving Italian Renaissance floral vase. It feels like an object. But as a concept, it doesn’t look bad on her — you just need to like that kind of thing.
Blue skirt suit: B-
In the midst of all the floral, she comes with this executive, 9-to-5 skirt suit that feels out of place. Given the movie’s reviews, maybe this aggressive corporate look is appropriate after all.
Chaps: D
This is where Lively leaves us speechless. All of a sudden this sexy Western ensemble with a cozy cardigan comes out of nowhere. There is no narrative here. Blake Lively is free-spirited in her fashion choices, and nothing exemplifies that like this look.
Pencil skirt floral dress: B
She’s taking floral dressing to the max. The pencil skirt with sleeveless top is a good silhouette for her. But this still feels very summer tabletop in Provence to us.

Aside from the vintage Versace, this is the best take on summer florals. It has a timeless quality with a bit of a ’50s touch. In terms of accessories, though, she is going full-on. The shoes have feathers in the back and the wooden bangles and floral cocktail ring are all too much.
C-
One thing is for sure, it’s a sorbet summer for Lively. She’s a walking dessert in this look. The tiered colored feather design is overwhelming the rest of the outfit. When mixed with the embellished belt and fairy drawings, there are too many things happening at once.
