Blake Lively and Hugh Jackman Nearly Break the Internet With Joint Vogue Cover: 'I'm Telling Ryan'
Ryan Reynolds' two favorite people have teamed up for an internet-breaking photoshoot.
Blake Lively and Hugh Jackman are set to feature on an upcoming cover of Vogue, and the internet has thoughts over the distinct lack of the Deadpool star after his Marvel counterpart unveiled the results of their time in the studio with Baz Luhrmann and Catherine Martin.
"When one gets the privileged call to be a part of a @voguemagazine shoot - you don’t blink, you say yesssss!" the Wolverine actor wrote enthusiastically on Instagram as he shared a preview of the publication's upcoming September 2024 issue.
"To stand with my friend, the extraordinarily creative, smart and talented @blakelively. To have the vision come to life in what felt like a full blown cinematic experience by @bazluhrmann and @catherinemartindesigns. I keep coming back to one word … iconic," he added. "Thank you to the team of highly respected artists that made this happen."
The pair were dressed to the nines for the glamorous cover, with Jackman decked out in a tux and bowtie worthy of James Bond, while Lively stunned in a little black dress with her hair styled back in a dramatic and voluminous 'do.
Fans were stunned to see both Reynolds' "wife & work wife" without him, with one joking it was "both of Ryan’s lovers on one cover."
"Ryan gonna be so angry that vogue [sic] didn't choose him over Blake lively," another posited, getting in on the family's tendency to troll one another, while someone else commented, "I'm telling Ryan."
"Don’t lie to us Hugh. You just wanted to rub this in Ryan Reynold’s face," read another reply.
