Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni’s Reported On-Set Clash Shows How Their Feud Really Began
If you’ve been keeping up with Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni‘s reported feud around their new movie It Ends With Us, then you might know they might be in a full-on PR war at the moment. And, like any PR battle out there, anonymous sources will emerge from left to right telling every side of the story, from how good one side is, to how villainous the other is.
So while we take each of these sources with a grain of salt, we can’t help but be intrigued by all the allegations coming forward. Earlier this week, for example, sources came forward to TMZ claiming that Baldoni approached his on-set trainer to ask how much she weighed ahead of a scene where he would be required to lift her.

Despite Baldoni reportedly having back problems, and therefore a valid reason to be concerned about lifting her, Lively, who had just given birth to her now-one-year-old son Olin, reportedly felt body-shamed when she heard of his concern.
But, just as one source shines a negative light on Baldoni, another new source is claiming that Lively surely had a hand on their on-set tensions too.
“The tension was so obvious,” an on-set source told Page Six.
According to the source, Lively, who also worked as a producer on the movie, wasn’t engaged in the filming process and wanted to get out of shooting the moment she could. “Once she was done with the scene she was really impatient, said, ‘Am I done? Can I go?,’ and as soon as they said ‘yes,’ there was like a Blake-size hole in the wall,” the source revealed.
“She was so outta there,” the source added.
Per the source, if she wasn’t out of the set, the mom of four would be “staring at her phone between takes.”
Of course, this only confirms what some now-viral videos of Lively and Baldoni suggested: that tensions were high between them since the very beginning of filming.
Previously, sources had suggested that Lively and Baldoni’s feud stemmed from their creative differences in post-production. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lively even ordered a new cut of the movie from editor Shane Reid, who edited her husband Ryan Reynolds’ movie Deadpool & Wolverine. It’s unclear what cut made it to the theaters, but it’s safe to say tensions have been only increasing ever since.
