Blake Shelton and Jimmy Fallon's childish sides take over at a palm reader
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, country music superstar Blake Shelton and Fallon visited a palm reader named Madame Fahrusha. As could be expected, neither of them took the readings very seriously. In fact, they were quite childish about the whole thing, starting with Fallon making a joke about Shelton telling him to take his “jacket off.” And it snowballed from there.
While Shelton got his palm read, Fallon asked, “Is that your strumming hand? Like you’d be in the bedroom growing up strumming all day?” Shelton said that it was his strumming hand, so Fallon knocked on the table like it was a door and said, “Don’t come in here. I’m strumming. I’m coming right down.”
Madame Fahrusha then set Fallon up perfectly as she did a tarot card reading for Shelton, saying, “Recently, you have been spending some time with a young man.” Fallon started laughing and said, “I forgot to tell you, this is an episode of Dateline. You’re going to jail, dude.” What Madame Fahrusha said next didn’t help. “He’s holding cups here,” she said. Fallon responded, “Yeah, he’s holding cups of Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Whatever you can trick him into drinking.”
Shelton got his chance to take a shot at Fallon, too. When analyzing Fallon’s signature, Shelton said, “You signed your name with butt cheeks. That is an open butt.”
