Blake Shelton lost his mind over the level of talent on 'The Voice'
Blake Shelton was all worked up on The Voice Tuesday night thanks to a handful of really talented musicians. 16-year-old Jaclyn Lovey sang Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” so beautifully, that Blake couldn’t help falling in love with Jaclyn. “I pictured myself, while you were singing, me riding a unicorn, the kind that has, like, wings. And I was holding a Care Bear, I had a Care Bear right here,” he told Jaclyn, who couldn’t help but laugh.
Even though that is an absolutely majestic image, Jaclyn wasn’t loving the unicorn rider and picked Alicia Keys to be her coach — a theme that continued throughout the night. Blake lost the soulful 23-year-old singer, Davison, to Adam Levine; and 34-year-old country rocker, Molly Stevens, went with Kelly Clarkson, despite Blake explicitly stating how serious he is about country music. “I am country and I’m proud of it, and that’s all I do!” Blake yelled, “And I’m serious about it!”
Blake Gets a Win
Blake’s antics continued after Pryor Baird impressed with a raspy version of “I don’t Need No Doctor.” But judging by Blake’s comment, Pryor might need a doctor. The country singer told him, “It sounds like you smoked a pack of cigarettes and drank a bottle of whiskey right before you got onstage, man.” Pryor quickly looked offstage and said, “It’s not true, Mom. It’s not true.” And even though Blake almost got Pryor in trouble with his mom, the blues singer picked Blake, finally giving the coach a much-needed win.
