Blake Shelton is all onboard for Taylor Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce!

The country music star shared his thoughts on the couple’s relationship during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday, Sept. 19. Shelton, who has been married to No Doubt’s Gwen Stefani since 2021, understands the publicity surrounding a power couple’s relationship better than most.

When host Pat McAfee asked Shelton if he believes in Swift and Kelce’s love story, Shelton’s answer was immediate: “I do, man.”

“I think when you’re willing to just come out and just kind of put it in everybody’s face that you’re together and you’re owning it, that’s something that Gwen and I did,” Shelton, 48, said while weighing in on how publicly the pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 34, have displayed their romance.

“The fact that they’re going there, it shows that they’re probably super into each other, and proud of each other in their accomplishments,” the “Ol Red” singer added.

The “Cruel Summer” songstress has attended both of the Chiefs’ two games thus far this NFL season, and popped up at several of the team’s games during the last season after she and Kelce began dating in mid-2023. Kelce has also demonstrated his support for Swift’s career by tagging along to watch her perform in person as her hit international Eras Tour traveled overseas this year. The NFL star even made an onstage cameo during one of the “Fortnight” singer’s shows at Wembley Stadium in London, England, back in June.

Though Shelton told McAfee he has only “been around” Kelce “once or twice,” he came away from those interactions with a strong sense of the football player’s personality.

Kelce is “a standout no matter where he is or what he’s doing,” the “God’s Country” crooner said. “He’s just got this big personality; he’s a funny guy. He walks into the room and he has a presence there, you know, so there’s never going to be that moment where he’s in the shadows anyway, just because of his charisma and his personality.”

Kelce always “owns the moment, whatever that is,” Shelton observed. “I love his personality. He’s a ton of fun,” the “Boys ‘Round Here” singer added.
