‘Blue Bloods’ Hunks: Our Favorite Guys From the CBS Drama

It’s easy to say that the hit police procedural Blue Bloods—that centers around generations of New York City cops—is a hit thanks to the incredible writing and intriguing storylines, but it also owes its tremendous success to A-list talent in front of the camera like Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg and Len Cariou. These Blue Bloods hunks make tuning in every Friday night even more thrilling than one of Danny and Baez’ cases.

Our favorite guys from the New York Police Department light up the screen every time we tune in, whether they're chasing down bad guys or offering up sage wisdom. On top of that, their good looks and charming personalities make watching an already exciting show that much more entertaining.

Dive into our list of Blue Bloods hunks and choose your favorite guy from the NYPD.

1. Tom Selleck as Frank Reagan: Blue Bloods hunks

Selleck gained hunk status years before he became the formidable Police Commissioner on Blue Bloods. The former private investigator on Magnum, P.I., Thomas Magnum, was a fan-favorite for years and his reputation as a stud only grew after joining Blue Bloods.

Although Selleck plays the sometimes stern and powerful commissioner, he occasionally shows his soft side, usually at the Reagan family dinners. But who can say they don’t love when Frank Reagan steps into those commanding shoes and takes a seat behind his desk, ready to tackle the day?

But even if fans of the actor, who is instantly recognized from his iconic mustache, are quick to pinpoint him as a heartthrob, Selleck is very humble about his obvious good looks. “I'm not really a mustachioed hunk anymore. I'm a mustachioed ex-hunk,” Selleck said in a recent interview. Whether or not he sees himself the way fans of Blue Bloods do, Selleck will always be our favorite dreamboat.

2. Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan

Everyone loves to watch Donnie Wahlberg fight bad guys and solve crimes in the span of a forty-five-minute episode, but Wahlberg was one of the Blue Bloods hunks before he even joined the cast. The actor and musician has been a member of the boy band, New Kids on the Block, since 1984, giving him years to perfect his hunk status.

Despite Danny Reagan being a bit of a hothead, fans adore the character for his soft side, which sometimes comes out around his family. But even when Danny is in his temperamental state, he's still one of our favorite Blue Bloods hunks.

3. Will Estes as Jamie Reagan: Blue Bloods hunks

As the youngest Reagan sibling, Jamie (Will Estes) has always been one of our favorite Blue Bloods hunks. And considering he's one of the only members of the family that wears his police uniform, there's no question as to why he is such a fan-favorite.

There's nothing quite like a man in uniform and Jamie Reagan perfectly pulls off that look.

But just like his TV dad, Estes is humble about the way his character is perceived. When asked why women love a man in uniform so much, Estes responded, “That's like, one of those eternal questions. Your guess is as good as mine.” He then joked, “All I know is I'll wear that uniform 'til the day I die."

4. Will Hochman as Joe Hill

He might be the new guy in town, but Will Hochman knows how to draw eyes on-screen as Joe Hill. The actor joined the cast in 2020 as the previously unknown son of Joe Reagan who was siblings with Danny, Erin and Jamie. Though none of the family was aware of his existence prior to his appearance, he quickly found a spot in the family.

Hochman’s character is easily one of the best Blue Bloods hunks, especially since he, too, is a man in uniform. Portraying an NYPD cop just like his Uncle Jamie (who he looks very similar to), Joe Hill was a great addition to the cast and is easy on the eyes as well.

5. Len Cariou as Henry Reagan: Blue Bloods hunks

Who doesn’t love Pop? Henry Reagan, portrayed by Len Cariou, is as lovable and hunky as the rest of the Reagan clan. Of course, where else would the family get their good looks? Cariou’s character is the head of the Blue Bloods hunks and is a necessary member for this list.

6. Steve Schirripa as Anthony Abetemarco

Before he was Detective Anthony Abetemarco, Steve Schirripa was gangster Bobby ‘Bacala’ Baccalieri on The Sopranos. While a dark and mysterious character is definitely attractive, a good-guy detective is even better. Anthony is not only great at his job and a good friend, but he is also a good father to his young daughter. What’s more attractive than a good father and a detective (man in uniform!)?

7. Peter Hermann as Jack Boyle: Blue Bloods hunks

Even though Jack Boyle isn’t beloved on-screen, that doesn’t mean that audiences don’t like to look at him. Portrayed by Peter Hermann, the ex-husband of Erin Reagan is not a favorite of the other characters on the series, but fans can’t help but get excited when they see Jack Boyle walk on screen (and potentially reuniting with Erin).
