Blueface Hit With Violation Of Probation Sentence From 2022 Strip Club Shooting
Blueface is one step closer to resolving his ongoing legal issues, as the rapper was recently sentenced for violating his probation from a 2022 Las Vegas strip club shooting.
On Tuesday (July 16), Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney granted Blueface, born Johnathan Porter, probation for up to three years, with a suspended prison sentence of two to five years. In accordance to his suspended sentence, Blueface must remain out of legal trouble for the duration of that term.
Blueface’s violation of probation in Las Vegas stems from a Dec. 2023 incident in Utah, in which he was captured on video inviting a concertgoer onstage at one of his live performances, only to order his fiancée, Jaidyn Alexis, to physically assault her.
Under the terms of his probation, the “Thotiana” rapper has been ordered to abstain from alcohol and drug use, including marijuana, stay out of distance of the Las Vegas strip unless otherwise hired to appear, attend impulse control counseling, and other conditions.
“If you get caught doing that, you get brought back here on any kind of probation violation especially anything involving weapon, I will not hesitate to put you in prison for significant period of time,” Judge Delaney warned of Blueface’s potential non-compliance. “You are playing with your liberty, your life obviously. But you’re playing with your liberty if you’re going to have guns and do anything that’s going to violate your probation in that regard.”
Delaney also sentenced him to thirty days in jail, but credited him with time served from his ongoing incarceration in California.
Blueface’s next violation of probation court date is scheduled for July 29 in Los Angeles.
