'Blues Brothers' Dan Aykroyd and John Goodman reunite on 'The Conners'
Dan Aykroyd made a brief cameo Tuesday on The Conners. His appearance is part of ABC’s “Cast From the Past Week,” which features cameos from some of yesteryears biggest stars in the network’s current lineup.
The Conners star John Goodman was happy to be acting with his old buddy again. The two actors previously starred together in the film Blues Brothers 2000. They have also toured together as the musical group the Blues Brothers.
In the episode, Aykroyd’s unnamed character is playing poker with Goodman’s character, Dan Conner. He jokes about being in a bad marriage that comprises lies and infidelity.
Katy Sagal also made a cameo on the series. She appeared in an episode last year, which hinted at a possible romantic connection between her character Louise and Dan.
The Conners airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
