Bobbi Kristina Brown's Autopsy Results Unsealed Seven Months After Her Death

Bobbi Kristina Brown's autopsy results have been unsealed seven months after her death.

Per NBC affiliate 11 Alive, an Atlanta judge on Thursday ordered the results be unsealed, following a motion by news company TEGNA Media that cited the First Amendment. (The State reportedly requested the documents be sealed in September to keep the information private in an ongoing investigation into Bobbi Kristina's death.)

While the results have been unsealed, the Fulton County Medical Examiner's, in a Thursday statement, said they, "has not received a signed authorization from the court indicating whether we can release information and, if so, what type of information can be released. If we do receive authorization later today, we do not plan to release information until tomorrow, March 4, 2016, at the earliest."

The autopsy results are expected to be made public Friday.

The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina was 22 when she died last July. Her death came nearly six months after she was found unconscious and unresponsive in a bathtub in her Atlanta-area townhouse. Once she was found, she was rushed to the hospital before being moved to a rehab facility before being put in hospice care, where she spent her final days.

As reported shortly after her hospitalization, a source told PEOPLE Bobbi Kristina was using heroin and other drugs before she was found in the bathtub.

While the autopsy results have yet to be made public, Bobbi Kristina's court-appointed conservator Bedelia Hargrove alleges in a lawsuit against Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend Nick Gordon ''injected'' her with a ''toxic mixture'', blaming him for her "wrongful death." (Gordon's lawyer's told PEOPLE at the time of the suit that is "meritless and slanderous.")
