Bobby Moynihan, Chris Parnell & Maria Bamford Star In Morgan Evans’ Comedy Feature ‘Micro Budget’

Saturday Night Live alum Bobby Moynihan and Chris Parnell and Lady Dynamite’s Maria Bamford star in the film, which is the debut feature from Morgan Evans, who wrote animated feature Merry Little Batman for Amazon/MGM.

Newcomers Emilea Wilson (Alternatino With Arturo Castro) and Patrick Noth (The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show) also star.
The film centers on Terry Terrison (Noth), who plays the director, Documented by his cousin Devin’s (Evans) behind-the-scenes camera crew, Terry finds that the only thing standing between himself and his dream is, well, himself. The mockumentary skewers the world of show-business and the depths some maniacal auteurs will sink to in pursuit of their vision.
The script was penned by Evans and Patrick Noth, and recently wrapped production in Malibu. It will be shopped to distributors following post-production.
Brandon Micheal Hall, Jordan Rock and Nichole Sakura also appear as a trio of up-and-coming actors in the film-within-a-film. Carla Jimenez, Hal Linden, Jon Gabrus, Kate Flannery, Matt McCoy, Mike Mitchell and Neil Casey also appear.
It is produced by Rob Hatch-Miller and Puloma Basu, who have previously produced music documentaries including Other Music and The Elephant 6 Recording Co., Evans, Noth and Wilson.
Evans is represented by Verve, Anonymous Content, and Paul Hastings and Wilson is repped by Innovative Artists.
