Bone Thugs-N-Harmony bring Summer Jam 24 to Moline

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Too $hort and Yung Joc are bringing Summer Jam 24 to the Vibrant Arena at The MARK on Saturday, August 10 at 7:30 pm. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 28 at 10 am. Tickets are available at the Vibrant Arena box office, 1201 River Drive in Moline or by clicking here.

Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone formed Bone Thugs-N-Harmony in 1991 in Cleveland. They pioneered a fast-paced rapping style called “Chopper Rap,” known for its unique melodic delivery, during the 1990s. Eazy-E’s Ruthless Records signed the group in 1993 and they released their debut EP, “Creepin on ah Come Up,” the following year, featuring their breakout hit “Thuggish Ruggish Bone.”

Their followup album, “E 1999 Eternal,” brought them major success in 1995 with hits like “1st of tha Month” and “East 1999.” Bone Thugs -N- Harmony won a Grammy in 1997 for “Tha Crossroads,” a tribute to their late mentor Eazy-E. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is considered one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time and continue to record and tour.

Too Short was one of the pioneering West Coast rappers, known for his signature stage name Too $hort. His lyrics address life on the West Coast, including pimping, street culture and social issues. He is credited with popularizing the use of funk riffs in rap beats.

Yung Joc hails from Atlanta and is best known for his smash hit “It’s Goin’ Down” which reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006. His debut album, “New Joc City,” was released in 2006 and “Hustlenomics” was released the following year. He launched his career with Bad Boy South and has worked with artists like Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, and Soulja Boy. He has appeared on several reality shows, including “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” and “Fix My Plate” with TLC’s Chilli.
