This Box Office Flop Is The Top Movie On Netflix Right Now

“Land of Bad” is currently the most popular movie on Netflix, according to the platform’s public ranking system.

The war thriller premiered in theaters on Feb. 16 and only grossed $6.5 million at the box office, but it seems to be reaching new audiences on the streaming service. Directed and co-written by William Eubank, the movie follows a U.S. Army Delta Force team that gets ambushed during a mission to rescue a CIA spy in the Philippines.

“Land of Bad” stars Liam Hemsworth, Russell Crowe, Luke Hemsworth, Ricky Whittle and Milo Ventimiglia.

“Cult Killer”

The top movie on Hulu right now is “Cult Killer,” a crime thriller that was originally released on Jan. 19.

Antonio Banderas and Alice Eve star as a private investigator and his troubled mentee, who gets wrapped up in a brutal kidnapping ring as she attempts to solve a murder. “Cult Killer” received mixed reviews from critics.

“Love Lies Bleeding”

“Love Lies Bleeding” is the third most popular movie of the moment on Max.

The neo-noir thriller premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January, followed by a theatrical release in March. Kristen Stewart stars as a reclusive gym manager from an organized crime family who falls in love with a rising bodybuilder, played by Katy O’Brian. “Love Lies Bleeding” also features Jena Malone, Anna Baryshnikov, Dave Franco and Ed Harris.

“Abigail”

The horror-comedy movie “Abigail” joined Peacock on July 19, three months after its April theatrical release.

Alisha Weir stars as the titular character, the daughter of an infamous crime lord who is kidnapped by a group of criminals who are unaware of what she is capable of. The cast also includes Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, Will Catlett, Kevin Durand, Angus Cloud, Giancarlo Esposito and Matthew Goode.

“Sharper”

“Sharper” is trending on Apple TV+. Julianne Moore produced and stars in this crime thriller, which debuted in theaters in early 2023.

The plot revolves around con artists taking on wealthy Manhattanites ― and each other ― in a series of connected vignettes. Sebastian Stan, Justice Smith, Briana Middleton and John Lithgow also star in “Sharper.”
