Boy George Threatens to Walk Out of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’
On Monday night’s Celebrity Apprentice, the field was narrowed down to the final two: Boy George versus Matt Iseman. However, the real battle was between Boy George and a keyboard player who was brought in to help him with a song for their variety show.
Boy George sat down with the keyboard player, and the two started working on a song that Boy George had already written. The keyboard player suggested they do the song in another key, and Boy George said, “I spent the last two days writing these songs. I know what key they’re going to be in. They’re going to be in D minor, and that’s it.”
Boy George became fed up with the keyboard player’s opinions and left the room to talk to the producers. While outside the room, Boy George said that he wanted a different keyboard player, and when a producer pushed Boy George to go back in and tell the guy he had to go, Boy George gave them an ultimatum. Boy George said it was either him or the keyboard player, adding, “It’s up to you. You want me to leave the show? Then just get rid of him.”
The Celebrity Apprentice airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
