'Boy Meets World' Trina McGee Says 'Miracle' Pregnancy Was 'Completely Natural'
For Trina McGee, her fourth pregnancy could not have occurred at a better time than in her fifties.
The "Boy Meets World" alum recently opened up about her pregnancy and why this baby differs from the experiences she had with her older children. The best part is that she conceived naturally, making it feel nothing short of a miracle!
At 54, Trina McGee is expecting her first child with Marcello Thedford, her husband of over a decade.
Trina McGee Is Excited For Her Fourth Child
During a candid interview, McGee raved about what it feels like to be pregnant at her age. She revealed that her fourth conception was "completely natural," following a more holistic approach to having a baby.
Although she planned for the baby, the actress has not fully wrapped her head around the thought of being a mother for the fourth time. "I just kept saying, 'Is this really happening?' I still do that. 'Is this really happening?' But it is," she chimed excitedly.
"Then, I'll get sick, or I'll do something weird [and] it has to do with pregnancy. And I'm like, 'This is really happening,'" McGee continued, noting that these experiences brought back nostalgic memories from her previous pregnancies.
"And I'm remembering all the other times when I was pregnant, you know, 25 years ago, and I'm like, wow, this is it. This is really happening. It's wonderful. It's great," she raved to PEOPLE.
McGee Says Her Fourth Pregnancy Feels Like A 'Miracle'
The soon-to-be mother of four could not help but compare her fourth pregnancy to her past ones, claiming this conception "feels very [much] like a miracle." She explained the differences between her pregnancies, adding:
"It's much more intentional. All I can think now, as opposed to when I had my older children, I was thinking about, 'Okay, I got to go back to work. I have to earn money, and I have a meeting at 4,' and this and that."
McGee went on to list the shows her past three pregnancies made cameos in, with her oldest daughter in "A Different World," her son in "Martin" and "Sinbad," and the last was born while she was doing " Boy Meets World."
"So they all have that, but this one is like, 'Whoa, okay.' He or she got a lot more press in the stomach than the other ones," McGee said of her current pregnancy.

McGee, who is currently 12 weeks pregnant, revealed she did not know her baby's sex or choose a name for the child. However, the actress and her husband are not bothered by the lack of preparation.
The 54-year-old explained the couple are waiting until their baby is born before deciding on a name. "That's more of an indigenous African tradition. You want to see who the child is, and then you want to name it according to that strength," she said.
"A lot of my friends in Africa, after getting to know me, call me Kaway, which means warrior, so I'm going to go in that direction," McGee continued, noting that her husband had nicknamed their child "Sonny X" out of his desire for a boy.

Earlier in June, The Blast reported that McGee announced her "miracle" pregnancy on Instagram. She shared a post set to The Supremes' "Baby Love" alongside the statement:
"At the tender age of 54, I have found myself pregnant. Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you."
If the post was not surprising enough, the 90s sitcom star's caption was the icing on the bombshell cake. "Gonna sign off social media for a bit. Thanks for your prayers and well wishes in advance," McGee concluded.
Fortunately, having a baby at 54 was big enough to drown her hiatus announcement, with fans sharing their love and best wishes for the mother and her unborn child. One of such sweet messages read: "Congratulations!! Praying for safe pregnancy and delivery!"
McGee's 'Boy Meets World' Ex-Castmate Had Mixed Reactions To Her Pregnancy
Following news of McGee's pregnancy, one of her former "Boy Meets World" co-stars reacted with excitement and skepticism. The Blast shared that Maitland Ward did not trust the update after she heard it.
"I was there when she got pregnant with her first three kids while working on the show," Ward reflected on her relationship with McGee, noting their past made her cautious in accepting the big news.
"My first thought was, like, is this April Fool's? But I read the post and everything," Ward said, stressing she was initially skeptical because there had been no verification about McGee's pregnancy.
Nonetheless, she was happy for the actress once she confirmed the news wasn't fake.
