Brad Pitt Is 'Happy to Focus on Himself and His Kids' Following New Single Status, Says Source
Brad Pitt is single again but the actor is more focused on being a dad than on dating.
A source tells PEOPLE the 55-year-old actor “seems happy to focus on himself and his kids” following a judge’s ruling that he and ex-wife Angelina Jolie can go back to being legally single before finalizing their divorce settlement.
Pitt and Jolie, 43, have been negotiating peaceably and privately for the last several months. The source says the two “are getting along better.”
“There is definitely less drama,” says the insider.
The two have six children together: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
“Both parents are focused on what’s best for the kids,” a source previously told PEOPLE.

While Pitt gears up for the July release of his next movie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Jolie has Maleficent: Mistress of Evil coming in October and is continuing her international advocacy work. She talked to PEOPLE earlier this month about her future: “Never say never,” she said of whether she might run for office someday.
