If you thought Brat Summer would be confined by something as fickle as the tilting of the Earth’s axis away from the Sun, you’d be mistaken — Brat Summer defies seasons, and it’s not slowing down even though we’re deep into fall. Charli XCX’s world-conquering Brat kept people dancing with each new, cheekily self-aware release, including Brat And It’s The Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not, which dropped in June. The deluxe edition of Brat got a vinyl release, which is available to buy today.

In addition to the standard edition of Brat and Brat And It’s The Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not, Charli XCX followed up with the remix album Brat and It’s Completely Different but Also Still Brat in Oct., which featured guest vocals from artists like Billie Eilish, Julian Casablancas, and Robyn.

Brat And It’s The Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not adds “Hello Goodbye,” “Guess,” and “Spring Breakers” to the tracklist. As for the remix album, BAICDBASB was released as a 3-LP one-time pressing. It unsurprisingly sold out quickly, but it’s available secondhand from retailers like eBay.

In addition to the deluxe edition, the standard version of Brat, with its now iconic green cover, got multiple vinyl releases, including the standard green version, plus retailer exclusives from Urban Outfitters and Turntable Lab.

In the Rolling Stone review of the original album, Brittany Spanos wrote, “On her sixth album, Brat, she stays out later and goes harder than ever before. And while she’s spinning around on the dance floor she’s also spiraling out in her head, digging deep into the types of insecurities and fears reserved for the comedown the morning after.”
