Brett Favre Breaks Plates With Footballs

Superfan

Future NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a spirited game of Throw Down. The rules of the game are simple: Jimmy throws plates into the air and Brett tries to break them by throwing a football.

Jimmy started by warning Brett, “Here’s the deal — we did this once before with Drew Brees, and he holds the record. He smashed three of them.” To which Brett responded, “He’s a much more accurate passer than me, by the way. I throw it harder.” The last statement drew an anxious “Oh you do?” from the Tonight Show host.

In the end Brett was able to nick one plate and completely nail another. Which isn’t bad considering, as he said, “I haven’t thrown in five years.” Brett also gave us a smile when he tossed the ball to Jimmy, who cowered like a frightened child.
