Brian Kleinschmidt Calls Out Wife Mika's Trash Talking on '100 Day Hotel Challenge'
The third episode of 100 Day Hotel Challenge airs on August 27, and the competition is officially heating up. Mika Kleinschmidt took home the win for the first episode, and her husband Brian and his team won the second. With the score tied, both Brian and Mika are pulling out all the stops to make sure they win the $50,000 prize for charity.
Each week, Brian and Mika are joined by HGTV designers to tackle a different project at their hotels. With the guest rooms and lobbies completed, it's time to renovate the kitchenettes in their North Carolina properties. This week, Carmeon Hamilton (Reno My Rental) joins Team Brian and Grace Mitchell (One of a Kind) works alongside Mika.
In this exclusive clip, Brian and Mika take a break from their stressful renovations for some shenanigans. Brian calls up Mika, who is concerned about her appliances arriving on time, to tell her that theirs are missing too, even though they clearly are not. Brian tells Carmeon, "If they didn't talk so much trash, we probably wouldn't have to do this."
Mika seems to pick up on the trick right away, saying, "It's making me think that you are playing a joke on me right now. I'm not buying it." Grace says she has too many brothers to fall for this, and Mika seems to agree, saying "I do trust [Brian], except when he's trying to compete and win a competition."
It will be up to Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott to determine who wins this week's challenge. Tune in on August 27 on HGTV, or stream on Max.
