After last summer’s Barbiecore explosion, there was less pink at the show. Instead stars like Halsey, Halle Bailey and Jessie Murph stepped out in total red looks. Black and yellow was also a powerful combination. The colors gave self-proclaimed “Childless Cat Lady” Taylor Swift’s Dior corset a punk vibe. Chorographer Sean Bankhead stood out in a tiger print suit.
Stars revealed slivers of skin in shredded looks. Gap campaign star Tyla made a strong case for neon yellow and fringe with her Area dress, which was just presented at New York Fashion Week. Millennial icons Paris Hilton and Katy Perry also wore shredded dresses, and both styled it with wet-looking hair and skin.
Others kept their look cool and casual in denim coordinates. German DJ Jaden Bojsen wore a laser-printed jacket and jeans by MCM. Entertainer Kerri Colby sparkled in Dsquared2’s sequin-covered denim set. TV personality Jayda Cheaves wore a deconstructed denim top and maxi skirt, while Shaboozey made selvedge denim look cool.
