Naylor’s IMDb page includes 10 projects, beginning with a 2004 episode of Absolutely Fabulous and ending with the pilot episode of The Witcher, an upcoming action drama starring Superman alum Henry Cavill. Naylor also acted on multiple seasons of CBBC’s Millie Inbetween. Her latest show for the channel, Almost Never, is a dramedy about a boy band.
Naylor played the leader of a rival girl band, which she enjoyed, because it gave her the chance to perform.
“I’ve been singing since I was about 10 years old as more of a hobby, but I did go to singing lessons, and it was just something that I’d always wanted to do alongside my acting,” Naylor told Tresa magazine this month.
CBBC said in a statement that she was a “much-loved part of the BBC Children’s family and a hugely talented actress, singer and dancer.”
Following the sad news, Naylor’s friends, co-workers and fans mourned, remembering her as a sweet presence.
Almost Never actress Emily Atack said she was “shocked and saddened” and called Naylor “a complete joy to be around on the set.”
Naylor said in the magazine interview that she had “some amazing projects” in the works.
