There Will Be 'Bombshells' Revealed In 'The Woman In Me'
At the end of September, a source told Page Six that there will be many “bombshells” about her family exposed in “The Woman In Me.” One source dished, “You read some of her family history in the book and you think ‘Oh my God, that poor girl.’”
Although it’s unclear how much of her past will be exposed, the insider claimed that she has “regularly” talked to her two teenage sons about what was said about her family in the book. On August 1, Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline moved their two teenage boys – Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17 – and the rest of the family to Hawaii.
“You have to be really patient with somebody telling their story for the first time and not force them. She details her family history, from her grandparents to her parents to why she is the way she is,” the insider said.
'Every Huge Sensationalized Headline' Is Reportedly Discussed In The Memoir
The memoir will also reportedly discuss how her 13-year conservatorship started in February 2008. It’s unclear if she will talk about how the end of the conservatorship ended in November 2021, when it was struck down by a judge.
“Every huge sensationalized headline is all in there,” the insider revealed. “There are a few bombshells, and you will have empathy for Britney. it’s Britney telling her story, without handlers, totally unfiltered — the good, the bad and the ugly.”
In terms of how her family will react to her memoir, a source told the outlet that they didn’t think that it would impact her relationship with her mother, Lynne Spears, and her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, who is currently competing on season 32 of “Dancing With The Stars.”
“I don’t think they will be upset,” they said, adding, “I think they will think it’s fair.” However, one source who is close to her father, Jamie Spears, ventured, “It’s going to be really interesting to read the book. I’m not sure how the publishers could even fact-check most of it. Britney has been seriously unwell in the past.”
