A high-profile marriage made her one of the most photographed women in the world, but Britt Ekland, now 76, made a name for herself that stands on its own to this day.

Swedish-born Ekland had just started acting in the early 1960s when she met Peter Sellers, a co-star who would soon become her husband. While their buzzy romance was one of the hottest celebrity topics of the decade, it wasn't until their divorce that Ekland's career really hit its stride.

In 1971, Ekland found her breakout role in "Get Carter," quickly solidifying her status as an A-list movie star. A few years later, she'd make her debut as a Bond girl in 1974's "The Man with the Golden Gun" and embark on another high-profile relationship, this time with singer Rod Stewart.

Although her acting career slowed in the 1980s, Ekland has continued to frequent the Hollywood scene, making occasional TV appearances and even competing on the reality show "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!"

She also had the rare opportunity to see her own life unfold on-screen when Charlize Theron portrayed her in "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers." The made-for-TV film won a Golden Globe and nine (!) Emmys.

Ekland was most recently spotted in February 2019 in Los Angeles, where she greeted excited fans at a celebrity autograph convention.
