Brittany Mahomes Welcomes New 'Cool Addition' to the Family
Brittany and Patrick Mahomes have a new member of their family, and we don't mean the baby they have on the way.
While the married couple waits for their third child to arrive, they have made a new addition to their family in the form of a bright pink starfish which has now joined their home aquarium.
Brittany, 29, shared a photo of the vibrantly-colored creature to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Sept. 11, showing her followers how the starfish is already making itself at home by suctioning to the side of the Mahomes' aquarium tank.
"Our new cool addition to our aquarium ??," the former pro soccer player wrote alongside the snap, while giving fans a glimpse at some of their other aquatic pets swimming in the background.
But pretty soon, Brittany and Patrick, 28, will have a whole new baby joining their family, as they are currently expecting their third child together.
The two spouses are already parents to daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes II, who will turn 2 in November. They shared the joyful news about their incoming addition to the family back in July, uploading footage with their baby's sonogram photos to make the announcement.
"Round three, here we come ??" Brittany wrote on Instagram at the time.
She later followed-up with more photos from their announcement photoshoot, while teasing, "Family of 5 coming soon?? blessings on blessings??????."
Later the same month, Brittany and her NFL superstar husband shared photos from their gender reveal, where they played Tic-Tac-Toe to find out that baby No. 3 is going to be another baby girl.
