Brooklyn Rivera (‘Big Brother 26’) exit interview: ‘I owned up to my choices’ and ‘I want Quinn to win’
Week 5 in the “Big Brother” house ended Thursday night, with Tucker Des Lauriers‘ reign as Head of Household coming to a dramatic conclusion. Following Tucker’s Veto win on Wednesday, Chelsie Baham, Brooklyn Rivera and Cam Sullivan-Brown were left on the block. After Chelsie saved herself in the A.I. Arena, Brooklyn was evicted by a vote of 8-1 over Cam. The 34-year-old business administrator from Dallas, Texas became the fifth houseguest sent packing from Season 26.
During her exit interview with host Julie Chen Moonves, Brooklyn said that she was well aware the one vote to save her came from her house “bestie” Chelsie. When asked why things went “so wrong, so fast” for her Pentagon alliance, Brooklyn responded, “Julie, who says I was running the Pentagon? I can’t even win a competition, Julie!”

Brooklyn found herself in just about every alliance and it seemed like everyone wanted to work with her. However, Brooklyn led the charge last week to save Cedric Hodges. Does she regret that now? “Not at all,” she confirmed. “I came here to play a loyal game to the first people that asked me to be on their team. I stand by that. I wasn’t going to lie after the fact, so I owned up to my choices.”
“I told the whole house that Tucker is the Big Bad Wolf, but it’s Quinn [Martin],” she explains. “They’re all scared of Tucker! They should really be scared of Quinn and me. That’s why I’m sitting here. I want Quinn to win. It will change his life. Or Chelsie, Chelsie’s gonna win, right?” Following her goodbye messages, which included being called out by Angela Murray for eating her charcuterie, Brooklyn’s final words were, “You can’t let good meat and cheese go to waste! I feel blessed and highly favored to be able to play this game that I love so much. Even though I didn’t win a competition, I hope my kids and husband are proud.”
