Bruce Springsteen appears on 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' says Larry David took 'big risk'
Bruce Springsteen had a stop and chat on the Sunday, Feb. 11, episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
Actually, it was a fictionalized appearance on an MSNBC show, where he chatted up the praises of star Larry David after David gave character Auntie Rae, in line to vote in Georgia, water because it was such a hot day.
David, who’s not prone to acts of kindness, was subsequently arrested for violating the state's Election Integrity Act, which makes it illegal to give free food or water to people in line to vote.
“Larry David took a big risk, he put his name and his body on the line!” says Springsteen on TV. “Involvement. That's Larry David's middle name. Larry ‘Involvement’ David.”

“You're like a hero or something,” says Susie Greene, aka comedian Susie Essman.
“Wow!” David exclaims.
Also on the show, Joe Scarborough likened David to Jesus, and Stacey Abrams offered that “Larry David is about action, not words."

This is the final season of David’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which debuted in 2000 on HBO. David is also the co-creator of the hit “Seinfeld.”
Springsteen has appeared on TV in the past, but more often as a guest and performer on a talk show. The Boss previously acted on TV when he appeared on the season three finale of “Lillyhammer” in 2014.
The comedy-drama starred fellow E Street Band member Steven Van Zandt.
