Bush, Live join forces for joint 25th anniversary tour
The ’90s are over, long live the ’90s. On Tuesday, two ’90s alt-rock bands — Bush and Live — announced that they would be embarking on a joint tour this summer. It’s a big year for both of them, because they both released landmark albums in 1994: Live’s Throwing Copper and Bush’s Sixteen Stone. This tour will act as a 25th anniversary celebration for both of them.
“We are thrilled to be touring this summer with Live,” Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale said in a statement. “The wealth and depth of songs from both bands should provide a great night of music. Looking forward to seeing you all this summer.”
“Bush is a great band and Gavin is a super passionate singer and performer. I’m really looking forward to spending the summer with them,” Live frontman Ed Kowalczyk added. “I know the fans are going to get one hell of a show.”
Tickets go on sale March 15, but Citi card members have access to presale tickets from March 12-14.
