How to buy tickets to see Chris Janson at Topeka Performing Arts Center
Country music lovers will have the chance to see multiplatinum songwriter and artist Chris Janson in the capital city.
The Topeka Performing Arts Center announced Janson will take the stage in Topeka as part of his "Whatcha See is Whatcha Get" Tour. The concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Nov 1.
Shawn Brian, marketing and ticket coordinator for the Topeka Performing Arts Center, said TPAC staff members are excited to bring in an artist who is young and energetic. He said Janson will put on a show.
"All generations are going to be to enjoy the style of performance and the high energy that he brings," Brian told The Capital-Journal.
Where can you purchase a ticket to see Chris Janson in Topeka?
Tickets to see Janson live were to be available beginning 10 a.m. Friday at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Topeka Performing Arts Center box office, 214 S.E. 8th St. The box office is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.
Ticket prices are likely to be $39 to $69, as additional fees may apply, the release said.
Rolling Stone proclaimed Janson “a live legacy in the making,” and Janson is a frequent presence at the nation’s biggest country festivals, tours and unexpected sit-ins, a VenuWorks news release said. VenuWorks is the Ames, Iowa-based management firm that operates the city-owned facility for the nonprofit Topeka Performing Arts Center organization.
Janson has multiple No. 1 songs, including "Fix a Drink," "Good Vibes" and "Buy Me A Boat.

Brian said he would love to see the show sell out.
"With the support of Topeka and as many country fans that we have, I think we can do it," he said. "So, Topekans you've got to get out and buy some tickets."
