C-viche to close Bay View location Oct. 22, but Shorewood restaurant remains open

Milwaukee is losing another Peruvian restaurant.

C-viche is closing its Bay View location, 2165 S. Kinnickinnic Ave., on Oct. 22. Its Shorewood location, 4330 N. Oakland Ave., will remain open and current staff will transfer there.

C-viche announced the closure on its social media accounts Wednesday.

"It is with a heavy heart that we come to announce our By View family will be closing its doors in the up coming weeks," an Instagram Story post read.

C-viche is the second Peruvian restaurant to close in the last few weeks. Triciclo, a Peruvian restaurant in Milwaukee's near west side closed abruptly in September.
