Caitríona Balfe and Sophie Skelton Choose Neutrals With Figure-skimming Twists for ‘Outlander’ Anniversary at PaleyFest 2024
Caitríona Balfe celebrated the 10th anniversary of the series “Outlander” alongside costars Sam Heughan, Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin and John Bell at PaleyFest New York 2024 on Wednesday. The event featured a sneak peek of the second part of Season 7 and included a conversation with the cast about the series.
For the occasion, the “Outlander” star opted for a dove gray crew neck minidress from Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini’s pre-fall 2024 collection. The paneled dress featured long sleeves and an asymmetric fishtail-style hem with pleat detailing.

The Irish actress, who portrays Claire Fraser in the Starz series, completed her look with sheer black tights and matching pointed toe pumps. She kept her beauty minimal, opting for a soft mauve lip and complementary blush.
The “Outlander” star has recently favored neutral tones with playful accents. At the Chanel and Charles Finch Pre-BAFTA Party in February, she wore a Chanel ensemble featuring a sequined tulle gold and black jacket with a chevron pattern and matching pants.
At the Toronto International Film Festival last September, for the premiere of “The Cut,” Balfe wore a black sequined Balmain gown by Olivier Rousteing. The dress featured pockets, a thigh-high slit, and gold sequin detailing that gave the straps an overall-like appearance.

Sophie Skelton, who plays Brianna Randall Fraser on “Outlander,” wore a silhouette that complemented Balfe’s ensemble. Skelton opted for a bright white shirtdress that split at the waist and flowed around her like a cape, pairing it with flared black pants.
John Hunter Bell
John Hunter Bell, who portrays the spirited young Ian Murray on the show, opted for a playful take on neutrals with a white T-shirt featuring black leather-like suspender detailing, tucked into black pants. He completed the look with a black hat and a black quilted blazer with gold lining.
Sam Heughan
Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser on “Outlander,” embraced the all-black trend in a relaxed suit paired with shiny black dress shoes.
Richard Rankin
Richard Rankin, who plays Roger Wakefield on the hit Starz series, kept to the neutral-toned theme in a black jacket and T-shirt paired with black-and-gray plaid pants. He completed his look with black loafers.
The second installment of “Outlander” Season 7 premieres on Starz on Nov. 22.
