Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have been official since they tied the knot in January 2015, but last night they made things red carpet official.
The couple, who have posed together only at sporting events thus far, made their red carpet debut on Thursday night in support of someone near and dear to them: Nicole Richie. They attended a party celebrating their sister-in-law and matchmaker’s collaboration between her House of Harlow 1960 line and Revolve.
The low-key couple went with a black and white theme for the evening. The Madden Brothers singer, 37, went dark in leather, while the actress, 43, paired a white blazer and tank with cream-colored jeans and beige peep-toe heels.

For the record, Cam in heels towered over her hubby — not that either seemed to mind. In a second, equally adorable photo, she kind of crouched down next to him, giving him the height advantage.
The pair also took a family photo at the bash, which is a total framer. They posed with the star of the evening, fashionista Nicole, as well as Benji’s brothers, Josh and his twin Joel, and Nic’s dad, Lionel Richie.

While promoting her latest health and wellness read, The Longevity Book, Diaz talked about marrying Benji after a two-and-a-half-month engagement.
“It was one of those things where everyone tells you, ‘You just know when you know,’” she said on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show. “I was like, ‘What does that mean? Oh, I get it. You just know when you know.’ Like, you’re my husband.”
And in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said marriage has already changed her. “That was the biggest thing I’ve done in my 40s, and it opened me up in different ways,” she said. “It’s pretty awesome. I didn’t think it was something I’d do, and I don’t know if I’d have done it if I hadn’t met my husband.”
