Cancer Bats Announce First Australian Tour In Five Years
Canadian hardcore legends Cancer Bats thrilled fans by announcing their return to Australia after a long five-year hiatus. The band will embark on their highly anticipated eight-show tour in June.
The tour will begin at Brisbane’s The Brightside, on Thursday, 13th June, followed by Melbourne’s Stay Gold on Wednesday, 19th June, and conclude on Friday, 21st June at Adelaide’s Jive Bar.
Cancer Bats – ‘Sabotage’
The tour will support Cancer Bats’ latest album, Psychic Jailbreak, which was released in April 2022. Their previous tour of Australia took place in October 2019, promoting their album The Spark That Moves, which music critics highly praised.
Cancer Bats will be accompanied throughout the tour by Sydney outfit FANGZ. FANGZ gained attention in 2023 with singles like “Fine Without You” and “Let’s Talk,” followed by their EP “Falling Is Pretty Normal” in 2022.
