Cardi B Harassed By MAGA Supporters Online After VP Kamala Harris Loses To Trump
Cardi B isn’t backing down from MAGA trolls coming for her after backing Vice President Kamala Harris during her Milwaukee rally. While Trump supporters are celebrating their win, Cardi’s has been dealing with online hate.
On Wednesday (Nov. 6), Cardi took to her X account with a heartfelt message for Harris, praising her for her integrity and perseverance. “No matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for the presidency, they can never say you didn’t run your race with honesty and with integrity,” she wrote. “You never accepted defeat as an option… you really wanted better for ALL of us!”
“This may not mean much but I am so proud of you! No one has ever made me change my mind and you did!” she continued. “I never thought I would see the day that a woman of color would be running for the President of the United States but you have shown me, showed my daughters and women across the country that anything is possible. Thank you for being empowered , thank you for being a real example of wehat AMerica n dream should be!”
But the MAGA crowd wasn’t having it. Trolls began flooding her comments with hateful messages. Not one to stay silent, Cardi reposted her note on X (Twitter), calling on the “lil Trumpettes” to stand down.
“No need to be nasty, y’all picked your winner,” she wrote. “All we can do is be hopeful and wish the best. Before Kamala joined the race, we knew how this country is set up and what was probably going to happen but it was so inspiring how she fought and changed so many minds, including mine.”
In a follow up video Cardi said, “Y’all won, I know ya happy. Ain’t nobody acting like bitter losers. But y’all need to leave me the f**k alone. I got one more f**king cigarette in me before I start lighting your a**es up.” She signed off with a warning only Cardi could deliver: “That’s word to the motherf**king United States of America.”
