Cardi B, Offset Unfollow Each Other Amid Cryptic Posts On Instagram
Fans miss nothing when it comes to their favorite celebrities, such as when they unfollow a significant person on social media. On Monday (Dec. 4), the public caught wind of Cardi B and Offset unfriending each other on Instagram after posting cryptic messages.
Things seemed to be fine on Sunday (Dec. 3) when Cardi B posted images from her runway debut at the Balenciaga show, inspiring her husband to leave a ton of heart-eye emojis under her post. However, the married rappers both took to their Instagram Stories on Monday (Dec. 4) with conflicting posts.
Cardi wrote in one story, “You know when you just out grow relationships,” and “I’m tired of protecting peoples feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST” in another. Offset also took to his Story with the infamous scene from Scarface, where Tony Montana says the infamous line, “Hey F**k you man! Who put this thing together? Me. That’s who. Who do I trust? Me.”
This wouldn’t be the first time that the famous pair hinted at turmoil in their relationship. Back in June, the “FAN” rapper publicly accused Cardi of cheating on him. “My wife f**ked a Ni**a on me gang yall ni**as know how I come,” he claimed on his IG Story at the time, but later admitted that he lied.
Cardi debunked his allegations on Twitter Spaces, singing the Keyshia Cole tune, “First of all, let me say, you can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!”
She then continued, “Listen. Don’t pay attention to that country man, y’all.” She insisted that her husband was “spiraling and thinking sh*t” that he knew wasn’t true. “Come on, now. I’m Cardi B, ni**a. I think sometimes motherf**kers forget I’m Cardi B. If I was giving this pu**y to anybody, it would be out. I’m not just anybody.”
Offset spoke with Angela Yee on her new radio show, where he admitted that the “cheating allegations post” came from being “really lit” on tequila when he and Cardi got into an argument. “We’re going back and forth, and I’m like, ‘Watch this,’” he recalled posting the lie and then deleting it. “She got a crazy mouth, but I love my wife at the end of the day, but she crazy, man.”
The former Migos member also made it clear that he didn’t need to clear up if she actually cheated on him or not, because him deleting the post “was enough.” He added, “At the end of the day, them people don’t be really knowing what’s going on with us, for real.”
