Cardi B Praises Kamala Harris For Running On ‘Honesty And Integrity’
Despite the results of the 2024 election, Cardi B took a moment to praise the work Vice President Kamala Harris has done over the past few months.
“To Vice President Kamala, no matter what they’ve said to bring you down or belittle your run for presidency they can never say you didn’t run your race with honesty and integrity,” the rapper began in a written statement shared on Instagram.
She commended Harris for “really [putting] up a fight against all the odds that were already stacked against you!”
The Invasion Of Privacy emcee continued, “You never accepted defeat as an option which says so much about your strength…You really wanted better for ALL of us! This may not mean much but I am so proud of you! No one has ever made me change my mind and you did!”
Carbi admitted that she “never thought I would see the day that a woman of color would be running for the President of the United States, but you have shown me, showed my daughters and women across the country that anything is possible.”
She concluded the post by thanking Harris for “being an example, being empowered, [and] being a real example of what the American dream should be!”
The Bronx native was among the first celebrities to endorse Harris when she announced her presidential bid back in July. She previously stated that she wasn’t going to vote once President Biden stepped down, but Harris changed her mind.
