Cardi B Is Pregnant With Third Child
Congratulations are in order for Cardi B, who revealed Thursday (Aug. 1) she’s expecting her third child.
The rapper posted a pair of photos on Instagram revealing her baby bump while wearing a silky red gown and matching fur coat.

“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!” she wrote in the caption to her unborn child. “You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
The happy news arrives the same day Billboard confirmed that Cardi has filed for divorce from her husband Offset a second time. According to her rep, the divorce filing “is not based on any one particular incident, it has been a long time coming and is amicable.”
Cardi and Offset were married in September 2017. The “WAP” MC previously filed to legally end their marriage in September 2020, explaining to fans at the time that it wasn’t “because of cheating” — although their relationship has been wrought with infidelity rumors on the Migos rapper’s end since nearly the beginning.
Cardi and Offset have two kids together. In 2018, Cardi debuted her baby bump for the first time while performing on Saturday Night Live; her first-born daughter, Kulture, is now 6 years old. Then, at the BET Awards in 2021, she revealed she and Offset were expecting their second child together during Migos‘ performance. Their son, Wave, is almost 3 years old.
