Cardi B releases 'WAP,' her raunchy new comeback single with Megan Thee Stallion
It's been more than a year since Cardi B released one of her own singles. But after taking some time off, mostly to raise her daughter Kulture, the Bronx M.C. is back.
Joining her on the new song "WAP" is 2019 breakout Megan Thee Stallion, one of the only other female rappers to now have a No. 1 song on the Hot 100.
Given how long Cardi's fans have waited for new music — her Grammy-winning debut album, Invasion of Privacy, was released in early 2018 — Cardi went full speed ahead and dropped the music video too.
The often hilarious rapper had to warn fans in advance, though, that the lyrics to "WAP" are so raunchy that YouTube asked her team to used a censored version of the song for the visual.
As the song has the duo trade bars about how exactly they want their men to please them, the video shows the pair walking through an opulent mansion in which each room sees Cardi and/or Megan hitting suggestive choreo in different-colored hued outfits and wigs.
Stay to the very end, as the pair invited some special guests like Normani and Rosalía into the house as well. Watch the "WAP" music video above.
