Cardi B Responds To Skin Bleaching Allegations: “Why Must Yall Be So Dumb?”
Cardi B is not here for recent comments made on her complexion.
The Bronx rapper swiftly clapped back at a fan who questioned if she had bleached her skin. The commentary was made after Cardi B shared a photo of her friend holding her fully-pregnant belly.
“Bleaching while pregnant,” begins the 31-year-old. “Why must yall be so dumb ? Actually NO ! I’m pregnant I’m slightly anemic ,this baby suckin all the energy off my body to the point I’m pale,eyes sunken ,veins green ASF,can’t tan under the sun cause I get hot super fast and dizzy.”
She continued to command, “PLEAE STOP THINKIN WITH YOUR A**HOLE!”
The Grammy-winning rapper officially announced her third pregnancy earlier this month after rumors began to circulate following her performance during the 2024 BET Experience in June. On the same day she shared her baby bump, it was also revealed that she had officially filed for divorce from rapper Offset, with whom she shares two children, daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2.
“With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!” revealed Cardi on Instagram.
Shortly after the announcement, the “Bickenhead” rhymer revealed that she almost suffered a miscarriage after being involved in a “freak accident.”
“I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little,” she said. “I practically fell, but I was trying to prevent myself from falling, so I was holding myself on the railing. My foot still slipped and I kind of busted my a**,” she explained.
Due to the pain, she visited the hospital where she learned that she tore a ligament in her pelvis area, near the baby’s head. The injury caused her to dilate and experience contractions every two minutes, leaving the medical professionals to monitor her for two days.
