Cardi B says she's 'really sad' about how voters let Bernie Sanders down in 2016
Cardi B is voicing support for one of the candidates in the crowded field for next year’s presidential election: Bernie Sanders.
I been reading about Bernie Sanders and I’m really sad how we let him down in 2016 This man been fighting for equal rights,HUMAN rights for such along time.Seeing this country become a better place been really his passion for a long time not a new front for a campaign.

While the rapper didn’t explicitly say that she would cast her vote for the Vermont senator, she said that she thought voters had “let him down” in 2016, when he lost the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
After a few people noted that Sanders’s plans include raising taxes to pay for things such as Medicare for all, she responded, “I don’t mind paying taxes if I see on what am I paying my taxes on. Its sad that we pay so much taxes yet we don’t have free college education neither free healthcare.” Sanders has proposed both.

Other commenters took the opportunity to advise Cardi B to check out some of the many other Democratic presidential candidates, especially Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren and California Sen. Kamala Harris.
“There was a better candidate in 2016, and there are at least 3 better candidates now. Bernie never should have run again,” one reader suggested.
Another said, “Girl read about ELIZABETH WARREN.”
“Kamala2020 get down read up on her,” someone added.
There were some practical answers, too, from people who are thinking ahead to the general election between the Democratic Party’s eventual nominee and President Donald Trump.
“Bernie has no shot due to his divisiveness so support someone like Warren who can achieve Bernie's goals,” one commenter wrote.
Still another deemed him “problematic.”
However, there were a few calls for Cardi B to support Sanders at a public event, which would, of course, include a performance from her: “Do a rally with him! It will be awesome!”
