Prada’s spring 2025 show was held today in Milan during Milan Fashion Week. The showing, produced by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, gave us a sneak peek into the future of fashion. The show strayed from the classic silhouettes the brand is best known for, venturing into the realm of experimental set in a room with a simple set design featuring turquoise fabric-covered benches.
Many familiar faces, including Prada’s myriad of brand ambassadors, were in attendance. K-pop superstars like Enhypen, Aespa’s Karina and NCT’s Jaehyun filed into the front row, accompanied by the likes of Charli D’Amelio, Sarah Paulson, Carey Mulligan and Letitia Wright. Dressed head-to-toe in the Italian brand’s offerings, stars brought their footwear a-game, looking sleek and sophisticated. In honor of the impressive showing and the star-studded attendees, FootwearNews is rounding up some of the best celebrity footwear moments from Prada’s spring 2025 show.
NCT’s Jaehyun
Jaehyun was appointed Prada’s global ambassador back in 2022, so it seems like a no-brainer that he attended the brand’s show this fashion week. The “Try Again” singer laced up a pair of chunky black brushed leather Prada oxfords. The preppy style featured black laces, glossy leather uppers, chunky black soles and stacked block heels. The designer pick also included soles fixed with hefty tread, offering a non-slip experience.
In a coordinating style, Jaehyun sported a black leather coat paired with a button-up vest and tailored trousers that had the performer looking like a chic spy.
Aespa’s Karina
Another Prada global brand ambassador, Karina attended the show in a pair of satin Prada platform heels. Silky satin uppers gave way to Prada logo hardware and open toes. Thick straps threaded through adjustable buckle closures fixed the shoes in place, while platform soles and 4 to 5-inch block heels had the K-pop star reaching new heights.
Simple and sophisticated, the “Drama” singer wore a little black dress in a strappy short style.
Carey Mulligan
For Prada’s spring 2025 show, the “Drive” star sported classic black Prada pumps. The footwear pick featured glossy jet-black uppers, pointed triangular toes and 2 to 3-inch stiletto heels. Mulligan and Prada have a long-standing relationship. The thespian has worn the Italian designer brand on multiple occasions both on and off the red carpet.
The star’s tried and true shoe choice paired nicely with her all-black ensemble featuring a belted oversized blazer and matching pencil skirt.
Letitia Wright
Channeling her inner tomboy, the thespian laced up ankle-length black Prada combat boots. The silhouette is classic and rebellious, falling in line with Wright’s personal style. Glossy black leather uppers gave way to rounded toes and black laces.
Contrasting the grungy look of her footwear, the “Sing 2” actress sported a preppy Prada bomber jacket with yellow accents and logo detailing paired with a black mini skirt. Wright is another brand ambassador who attended Prada’s spring 2025 showing. The “Black Panther” star has appeared in a myriad of stylish campaigns for the brand over the years.
Charli D’Amelio
D’Amelio took a more colorful route than her fellow show attendees in velvet pink pumps. The footwear choice included textural uppers, sharp pointed toes and thin stiletto heels. Heading the grungy route, the influencer wore a cropped black leather jacket boasting some serious hardware paired with a plaid maxi-length skirt in a high-waisted style.
Back in 2022, D’Amelio fronted Prada’s Linear Rossa fall 2022 campaign. Since then, the TikTok star has become one of many fresh-faced fixtures for the brand.
Sarah Paulson
Opting for color, Paulson popped on blush pink kitten heels. The Prada pair included silky pink uppers, sharp pointed toes and short stiletto heels. The footwear option was striking, playing well with the more colorful pieces in the thespian’s look.
On the outfit front, the “Ratched” actress wore a mustard yellow cropped sweater accompanied by a deep gray maxi skirt and a light gray wool jacket.
Maya Hawke
The “Stranger Things” star opted for comfort, popping into a pair of classic black Mary Janes courtesy of Prada. The silhouette included black velvet uppers, dainty bow adornments on the toes, adjustable buckle closures and almond-shaped toes. Preppy and simple, the footwear choice was an outlier when compared to other celebrity attendees’ footwear looks.
Hawke kept reaching for the classics, clad in a little black dress fixed with long sleeves and crystalized embellishments. The actress was officially appointed as one of Prada’s brand ambassadors back in 2023.
