Carolyn Bessette Was Neighbors With This Legendary Supermodel for Years Before Dating JFK Jr
Even decades after her death, Carolyn Bessette has remained iconic. Most remember her gorgeous, minimalist style that has influenced so many people even today, but there was so much more to her. While she remained enigmatic throughout her life in the spotlight, resurfaced photos showed fans a different side of the star: a social butterfly who rubbed elbows with quite a few A-listers during her time at Calvin Klein.
Throughout her time at the fashion house, she made a name for herself, and was known to help the models get through it all. Not only that, but it seems she may have been the closest with Kate Moss, who would end up being her neighbor.

Flashback to the early 1990s, and according to a profile from Town and Country, Bessette was one of two people who convinced Klein to hire Moss for his new campaign (and it ended up saving the company)!
Soon after, Bessette and Moss (along with her boyfriend Johnny Depp) lived in the same Village apartment for literal years. (And there’s photographic proof of the two posing together during an event, if you’re skeptical about their bond!)
Not much else is known about their bond, but this surprising friendship proves fashionistas truly stay together.
However, it’s been reported that Moss had another connection to Bessette in a peculiar way. Moss and Bessette’s future husband JFK Jr allegedly had a brief, passionate encounter after meeting at a gala. But that has never been either confirmed, or denied, but rather stayed as one of those Hollywood rumors.
