Cassie Ventura Lawyer Slams Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs For “Disingenuous” Apology Video
Meredith Firetog, a partner at Wigdor LLP, has lashed out in response to Sean Combs’ video post today in which he apologizes for the assault on his former girlfriend that was captured on a hotel video.
Wigdor represented Cassie Ventura in her settlement with Combs over an assault. The incident was captured on video that only surfaced in the last few days.

“Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That he was only compelled to ‘apologize’ once his repeated denials were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one will be swayed by his disingenuous words.”
Earlier, Combs’ former company, Revolt, issued a statement decrying his violent action
The Combs apology arrives days after a hotel surveillance video emerged in which Combs appeared to grab, shove, drag and kick Ventura.
“My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video,” he said today on Instagram.
“I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now,” he added. “I went and I sought out professional help. I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.”
Combs previously denied Ventura’s allegations of assault and claims made by other women .
