Cast of 'Frozen 2' stops traffic with chaotic musical performance
Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad visited The Late Late Show With James Corden to perform some of the biggest hits from Frozen, in the middle of a busy crosswalk. And luckily, everyone managed to avoid being hit by motorists.
“Crosswalk: The Musical” is a recurring bit on show. In fact, this marked the third time Gad has performed alongside James Corden.
Initially there was some tension as Corden insisted on playing Elsa. After speaking with the cast, Corden agreed to let the Tony Award-winning Menzel play the role she helped make so famous.
The cast also shared a song from Frozen 2, which opens in theaters Nov. 22. And if the song is an indication of the rest of the film, audiences should pretty pleased.
For Kristen Bell, the entire experience was a realization of a dream. “I can't believe it, this is a dream come true, ever since I was a little girl I have been running into crosswalks and breaking into song,” said Bell, adding, “It has actually been quite a serious problem and there were a few close calls.”
The Late Late Show With James Corden airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. on CBS.
