It’s been 20 years since suburban teens Brittany and Natasha found themselves in possession of pop star Jordan Cahill’s cell phone in Disney Channel’s iconic original movie, Stuck in the Suburbs.

The film, which was released alongside a corresponding soundtrack, followed the hijinks that occurred after the teens accidentally swapped phones with the pop star.

In the end, after some mishaps, the girls befriended the musician — and even got to appear in one of his music videos. Now, two decades later, the stars of the movie are looking back at the beloved film.

On July 17, Taran Killam — who played the heartthrob Jordan himself — shared an Instagram tribute to the anniversary with a video compilation from the movie set to the song “More Than This” from the soundtrack, with a “Happy 20th Anniversary” message written across the screen.

Danielle Panabaker, 36, who played Natasha, reposted the video to her Instagram Story, sharing her disbelief at how much time had passed. She wrote, “Can it really be 20 years?!” and tagged her former costars and the Disney Channel.

In response to her repost, Killam, now 42, joked “My knees say it can.”

All three actors went on to build stacked résumés after sharing this early credit.

When Song landed the role, she had already dipped her toes into the world of Disney with roles including one alongside Lindsay Lohan in Get a Clue and an episode of That’s So Raven. Her Disney career was far from over; she later appeared in Phil of the Future, Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior and The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

Six years after rocking Cahill’s frosted tips, Killam became a cast member on Saturday Night Live and more recently appeared in series like Single Parents and American Crime Story: Impeachment in addition to lending his voice to the animated series Nature Cat.
