Finally getting tired of rewatching Cat Cohen‘s Netflix special The Twist … ? She’s Gorgeous over and over and over again? Don’t worry, Cohen has a plan for that. The comedian will be releasing her debut album Overdressed on Nov. 14 — and it contains both classic pop sounds and Cohen’s signature comedy blend of both begging for attention and railing about the internet’s obsession with astrology and party photos.

“I’ve loved doing the stand-up cabaret thing for a long time, but I’ve always wanted to write some new songs with a poppier tone,” Cohen tells Rolling Stone exclusively. “We made the album in like nine days in London, and it was just the greatest joy of my life. It’s a total dream come true.”

Following the success of her Netflix special, Cohen has become known for her no-holds-barred takedowns of the patriarchy, dating culture, and pure confusion for people who run marathons and think jeans are comfortable. She hosts the Seek Treatment comedy podcast with Pat Regan. As an actress Cohen has appeared in shows like Broad City and Search Party. She most recently had a guest role on Only Murders in the Building. Cohen also has another special, Come For Me, releasing Oct. 17 on Veeps.

“It’s all coming from a place of just wanting to laugh and have fun. It was important to me that [the music] sounds really good, and sexy and like you’d want to dance to it at a party,” Cohen adds. “I would just love to see people dancing and having fun to the songs. That’s my dream. I don’t even know where the cool clubs are, but put them on, put the music on there.”
